Ongoing formal and informal dialogue with students and staff is an important element of the CDT, to ensure our ED&I strategy and plans are appropriately meeting student and staff needs. This evaluation is conducted by the ED&I committee. The annual anonymous survey is a key component in ensuring that our ED&I practices are in line with student and staff needs and to improve and update any elements that have not been met. The survey is conducted during the Easter term using the on-line platform Qualtrics. Students are able to provide feedback on all aspects of the programme including research, teaching, wellbeing, management and organisation.
In addition to these formal mechanisms, we also encourage informal feedback at any time. As we are a new programme we expect to evaluate the content yearly to ensure that our students receive the best education and training possible in this field.
