AI for the study of Environmental Risks (AI4ER)

UKRI Centre for Doctoral Training

The newly formed Cambridge Centre for Carbon Credits (4C) is funding 6 studentships in affiliation with the AI4ER CDT. These studentships are fully funded and will cover home or international tuition fees, research costs and an annual tax-free stipend of at least £15,000 for four years full-time (1 yr MRes + 3 yrs PhD), starting on 26 September 2022.

Successful candidates for 4C studentships will enrol and join the AI4ER CDT programme (1 yr MRes + 3yrs PhD). Applicants will need to identify their project choice at the application stage. The following projects (MRes and PhD) are available.

These projects span environmental science and computer science. Project supervision will therefore be provided by an appropriate cross-cutting supervisory team drawn from members of the 4C.

If you are interested in applying for a 4C studentship, please follow the instructions to apply. On your statement of interest please indicate that you are also interested in applying for a 4C studentship and rank up to 3 projects that you are interested in applying to.

Shortlisting and interviews will take place shortly after applications close on Friday 11 Feb 2022.
